Mark is the President of Ficher Heck, managing many of the firm's religious and urban planning projects. His specialties lie in Sustainable Urbanism, Master Planning and Religious Architecture where he has worked on a variety of projects ranging from $50,000 to $2 Billion. Mark heads up the firm's marketing efforts as well as religious and urban design projects, constantly striving to produce sustainable and environmentally conscious designs. The knowledge he has gained from years of religious design gives him a unique perspective on how to develop spaces that focus on creating a meaningful procession to the main element of the religious building – the altar. Outside of the office, Mark enjoys DIY home improvement projects and spending time outdoors with his wife and dog. Mark is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, the San Antonio Conservation Society, Mission Heritage Partners and is a LEED accredited professional.
