Silk in a true violet was painted in an ombre design for paraments for the

altar and large hanging beside the presider's chair. The pieced overlays for Advent blend with the existing bluer vestments tor Advent. A second set in a

redder shade of works with the vestments for Lent. The painted silk

works for both.
