Margaret Adams Parker creates sculpture, paintings, prints, and etched glass for churches and religious institutions across the country. She brings to her work as a liturgical artist a passion for the transforming power of the visual arts in sacred spaces, her deep knowledge of the long and varied history of sacred art, and her joy in collaborative conversation with her clients.

Margaret Adams Parker creates sculpture, paintings, prints & etched glass for clients across the US. Also a seminary instructor, she teaches about the power of the visual arts in the sanctuary. These two callings deepen & enrich each other.

Parker understands each commission as a collaborative conversation with her client. She brings her expertise and her years of experience to help bring to fruition each client's vision.

SERVICES
Parker works with churches and religious institutions to create sculpture, paintings, prints, and etched glass for their sacred spaces. She collaborates with her clients, working from a three-stage contract. In the first stage she consults with the client to identify the subject of a work and to determine its appropriate medium, size, and location. Based on these discussions she creates 2D or 3D sketches to offer the client a choice of image. In the second stage she renders the selected model into a full-scale work (in the case of sculpture, a model to be delivered to the bronze foundry for casting) and designs a base or other means of installation. In the third stage she delivers and supervises the installation of the work. She is available to be present at the dedication and to speak about the work if requested.
